History, Archaeology, and Art Illuminate a Life on the Hudson
Former NNI trustee Bill Greer and archaeologist Paul Huey present the life of an early Dutch settler in Rensselaerswijck, of whom Mrs. Schuyler van Rensselaer said, “No man who had ever been the colony, it may be said, had done it as good service as he.”
For more information on Van Curler, visit our digital exhibition: https://www.newnetherlandinstitute.org/history-and-heritage/digital-exhibitions/arent-van-curler-and-the-flatts
The event begins in NNI’s new office and proceeds to Schuyler Flatts where Dr. Huey excavated the Flatts farm.
