From the Director's Desk
Dear Friends,
In this month's newsletter, we shine the spotlight on our fellows for this year, who are working on a wide variety of fascinating subjects. From food scarcity in the 17th century to apocalyptic thinking in Dutch Reformed Churches of the 18th century, we're looking forward to welcoming and supporting this year's grant winners.
There are always more brilliant applicants for our fellowships than we have money to support. If you would like to talk to us about supporting our existing fellowships or creating new fellowships, please let us know. At the moment, we are particularly interested in starting fellowships to support translation work and to support research in the art history and material culture of New Netherland and Dutch New York.
As summer begins, we also wish you happy travels.
